The AI world produces enormous information daily, but most of it gets distorted through secondhand retelling and clickbait. Signals API's first principle: every signal leads back to its source. We pull raw feeds from our eight sources — GitHub, Hugging Face, YouTube, Silicon Valley, ArXiv, LMSYS Arena, Hot Topics and Hardware — and every signal carries its original URL, publish time and publisher. Click once and you're at the source, with no middleman interpretation. Why does this matter? In a field with extreme information distortion, "who said it" and "where it came from" are the anchor of value. Use publish time to judge freshness, publisher to judge credibility, and the original link for deeper research. For researchers, traceability means every citation is verifiable. For investors, it means decisions withstand scrutiny. For creators, it means you can cite with confidence. We don't produce opinions — we deliver verifiable facts, with "back to the source" as the default behavior of the product.
Say you want to know what happened in AI today: GitHub alone spawns hundreds of new repos and rising projects every day — and GitHub is just one of our eight sources (models, videos, papers and news included). Manually scanning all of that takes half a day. Signals API compresses it into one list: four fixed collections a day, automatic deduplication and classification, condensing eight streams into a few dozen key signals. Further compression comes from filtering — by company (OpenAI, DeepSeek, Qwen…), by topic (model, agent, security, funding…), by type. Most information products only give you "now". Signals API also gives you "then". Every day's signals are automatically archived: yesterday, last week, last month — searchable any time. Second, recovering what you missed — back from a week away, the archive fills in everything important you missed, so you never fall behind because you "didn't see it". Third, accumulating an asset — after three months, a year of continuous operation, this archive is a unique data asset documenting the full evolution of the AI industry over that period. For research and investing, history isn't nostalgia; it's the baseline of analysis. Without history, you can't tell whether "now" is normal fluctuation or an anomaly. The archive compounds daily — every day you subscribe adds one more day of history depth.
API = Application Programming Interface — simply put, a data endpoint your programs can call directly. Information products come in two kinds: for humans and for machines.
